Achievements

• About 700+240 (In service) trainees have been passed out and all of them secured employment in their ITDA areas

• Organised inservice orientation programmes/ work shops to the teachers working at ITDA schools to improve their professional efficiency

• The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi sanctioned a programme study center for B.Ed.(DM) w.e.f., January, 2006.

• The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh selected the college for Spl. D.Ed. programme for untrained GVVK/GPS teachers 2007(Summer-2007) and secured 100% results 

• All the B.Ed. trainees have to adopt selected tribal habitations for literary & community development projects.

• The Principal (M.P.Dayal) attended national/international level seminars on teacher education conducted by NCTE, IATE etc., and presented several papers on tribal education. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh nominated the Principal as a member of academic senate, Kakatiya University, Warangal.

• The vice chancellor of Kakatiya University, Warangal has exempted college from processing fee @200/- each payable by the B.Ed. trainee every year

• Free coaching camps being organised at the college for tribal students a) DIET- CET-2005- April,2005- 3 tribal students secured state ranks and free seats at Govt. DIETs Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad. b) Ed. CET- 2005- October,2005 – all the participated tribal students (43) qualified in the Ed.CET and 10 of them secured state ranks and free seats

• The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Warangal accorded permanent affiliation to the B.Ed. programme w.e.f., 2005-2006

• The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has saction Rs.71 lakhs for additional building construction and 15 lakhs for labs development very recently

• The Hon`ble MP of Bhadrachalam, Dr. M. Babu Rao visited the college and expressed his satisfaction and sanctioned 0.50 lakhs for the library.

• The Hon`ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy appreciated the college for participation in social activities.
